Unchained: Adulthood often necessitates a significant commitment of time and energy to obligations that may not align with our personal desires. The 'Under the 9' series of paintings draws inspiration from Jackson Pollock's immersive technique, which necessitated the engagement of his entire body to channel his subconscious and emotions. In contrast, this miniature 9-piece series compresses expression into a diminutive 8cm x 8cm format.

This choice reflects the constrained and limited freedom of expression that adults frequently experience, symbolising how our expansive desires are often confined to tiny, manageable portions of liberty.
